Brita 35530 Ultramax Dispenser
I bought this item, because my water is so hard,try to help the hard water issue for the iron and coffee pot, too soon to know if it actually works,I am also using it to make my own drinking water, I think it will be a good product.

i have had my brita for more than 6 years and never had a mold problem or a leak i recently bought this new pitcher with the digital top only because my brita cracked after my son dropped it, guess it was time to upgrade. Just like with the old one the new one is just as good i've had it for over six months and its been good and i would highly recommend it

Time Saver
With far fewer trips back and fourth from the fridge to the sink this dipenser is a real time saver versus the pitcher. I like the LCD vanishing bars to alert you when a new filter is needed. My refridgerator also has shelves that slide out which helps with filling. I find reaching back and pulling up on the lid's left rear corrner the easiest method for popping the top off. The filters do a fantastic job of making our town water taste great. My Wife was hooked on Aquafina (She rejected all other brands.) Britta won her over! No more Aquafina bottles filling our recycling bin. The spotlight is now on the first word in the slogan- REDUCE reuse recycle.

Best oil deal in town!
I love this oil, and I love having it delivered automatically every 2 months! The flavor is yummy, we use it in everything from homemade bread to dressings for salads, dipping for bread, frying eggs, everything! Amazon.com has the best deal for Zoe's Organic oil anywhere, as it does on all of the products I use for my family.

Loved it, BUT.....
Love the product, what i did not like is that twice i received the cans very damage, the packing is very bad, the cans aren't protected at all.

Good quality and value
I would have rated this five star, but I'm sure there is better olive oil out there. My only reservation is that it is from Spain where natural lands are being swallowed up and water diverted for olive groves, creating water shortages in many areas and adding to the world's environmental problems. The product is otherwise excellent and an extremely good value so I will continue to buy this product.

Great stuff
Has long shelf life (since the sunlight can't destroy it, as it's in a metal can), and a pleasant flavor - not too strong, not to weak. I usually make salad dressing with it, but depending on what else has been on hand, it's also fried some foods, made popcorn, and acted as a hair conditioner... br / br /Worst thing about it is that Amazon has trouble keeping it in stock...but the product itself is great.

Olive Oil you can live with.
We have bought this brand from our local organic grocer that delivers. amazon offered a better shipping cost and price. Great size for people who need olive oil for 1-2 people in household. Stays good longer. Great to cook. Healthy alternative than bottled. Can use with any meal.

Verizon's "broad"band extremly slow
I've own a Verizon data card for over a year now and the connection speed is becoming extremely slow. I tested everywhere including in house, on the road, airport etc. The avg download is about 400K and upload 140K. These are significantly slower than what I was promised at the store and the results of my tests when I first bought it (800K/400K). br / br /I called Verizon. The tech support guy was very rude and basically said this speed is normal and "broadband". He also tried to come up with excuses such as you are indoor although he had to agree that my signal strength was good. He also said as long as you could connect, you couldn't argue because there was no promise of the speed on the contract. (So basically even if your speed was 1K, they wouldn't see a problem with it.) br / br /My conclusion, I will never use Verizon again.

Slows down, but resetting it speeds it up again
I originally gave this product one star because I was getting 90kbps downloads and 7 kbps uploads. After a call to tech support, they walked me through the process of reinitializing the modem and reactivating/reinstalling it. This sped things up again, but, over time or when I travel, I seem to have to repeat this process a lot to keep a decent speed.

Works Great With Mac 10.5.3
Just got this today and installed on my 10.5.3 Macbook Pro computer. I just plugged the card in and the OS asked me if I wanted to activate the card. It went through about a 90 second process and activated it. It then promted me to install a port. I just typed in my Administrator password and 30 seconds later the card was working. NO reason to install the Verizon software at all. I just control it from the menu bar. Works great even in weak signal areas.

Works great with MacBook Pro
I've had mine for a year. There were a few software glitches at first (I was one of the 1st Mac users), but those have been resolved. Current software and service is flawless. Before you buy, look at a local coverage map and make sure there is service where you plan to use it. Can't speak to using it on a train because I've never done that. br / br /I'm a marketing rep and it's my only ISP; with it, I've got coverage in all the places I go. I have 3 bars at home, where I do most of my work, usually 1.2 mbps there. In Manhattan Boston, it's faster. Even works in rural parts of Vermont on Extended coverage; it's feels like dialup there, but if I have to get an email out or enter data and there's no nearby hot spot, it still works. br / br /Did not get the USB card because what was available last year was so wide it would have blocked the power port. br / br /I like that it's less obtrusive than the USB cards or a tethered phone, and I can talk and do data, because the phone isn't tied up. On the Mac, it's on the left, so it doesn't interfere with mousing. I'm single, and if I just want to get out of my apartment at night, I can go to any restaurant/coffee shop to do my paperwork, not just hotspot. br / br /If you found this post, you probably don't need to hear this, but for noobs... Very important re: the service, there is a strict 5GB/month limit on all new contracts. VZW BB is not a good choice for multi-person access (ie, families), or for anyone who plans to do a lot of uploading or downloading of large files. File sharing (P2P) is strictly forbidden; when detected, VZW will slow down your service. Also, it's slower and more expensive than cable or FIOS. This is best thought of as a supplemental service for people who need to work away from a desk.

Works great
Have it installed on MacBook Pro on Mac OS 10.5.2. Works perfectly without any driver install. Fantastic speed.

We like the filtered water!
We've been using the Brita pitcher and filters for six or eight months, and they work very well. It's nice to have really clean-tasting water, and have ice-cold water in the summertime. (I even use the cold water to make hot tea or coffee because it tastes so much better.) I replace the filters when the indicator on top says to do so, about every 2 months. and they're easy to change. I often see some of the little black carbon specks in the top part of the pitcher as I refill the water, but the lower, filtered section is always clean and clear. This has been much less expensive than buying bottled water.

Good System
I love my Brita water pitcher and therefore, couldn't live without the filters! I find that my water tastes so much better after being filtered. Also, since my husband I and are the only ones using it and we aren't home much, I find that the filters last much longer than the suggested replacement period.

Nothing Should Be Floating In Your Water
In the beginning Brita Replacement Filters were an outstanding idea that complimented the pitcher system. For the first couple of years the filters worked great. Somewhere along the line beginning in 2007, Brita decided to go cheap and introduce a much maligned filter. br / br /The filters look the same, but that is where it ends. No matter how long one soaks the filter, carbon residue still shows up in the reservoir and in the water. At first I thought it was just a bad batch of filters. br / br /After contacting Brita Customer Service about the issue, I returned the filters. Two weeks later, the new replacement filters arrived. Sadly, same story, same problem. Brita recommends soaking the filter 15 minutes before installing. I soak mine for 3 hours and still the same result. Upon contacting Brita Customer Service again I was casually informed " the carbon particles are normal and will not hurt humans." Enough said. br / br /The bottom line is for the price paid for this product and combined with all the issues with clean water, there should be absolutely nothing floating in my water. The fact that NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) still allows its stamp to be placed on this product is simply amazing.

Looks so much better. The laces in a bow are a distraction from the beauty and magnificence of the shoe. I love them!

Great, Fun Features; Not For a Simple Cell User
I purchased the Vu on just the price ($.01 with a renewed contract) and the touch screen...with no intentions on ever using the TV feature. I still have no intentions on using the TV, but I am extremely happy with the phone and would recommend it to friends. br / br /I am a texter -- I go through about 200 texts a day and am a pro at the keypad. With the Vu, I find it near impossible to use the keypad (I am constantly hitting the wrong button and selecting the wrong letter). I was forced to try out the keyboard, which surprisingly works great! I found it it very accurate when you "fat finger" the keys on the keyboard. I normally have medium length nails so I just use my fingernail which is the most accurate. br / br /After a month of using the phone, I'm still getting used to how to access phone numbers whether dialed, received, or in my directory. I think this would be the case with any touch screen. The email and web features are very easy and convenient;I find myself using them several times a day. br / br /Pros: *Very clean, sleek phone. *Relatively small for a touchscreen. *Easy to maneuver through and use. *Alarm feature offers a quick alarm on the front screen in case you need a timer. *Convenient AIM, web and email features. br / br /Cons: *There is a bug with the keyboard - 10% of the time when switching from keypad to keyboard it will lock up and display both on top of each other; I need to press the end button to clear it. *Main menus are not customizable. *You cannot hold the phone between your ear and shoulder - I have hung up on several calls accidentally from my face unlocking the touch screen and pressing the disconnect button; I strongly recommend a blue tooth ear piece. *No place to store a stylus which I use for web browsing. *I have to power cycle the phone once-twice a day because it loses connectivity to the web.

2 months old ISSUE
First of all I have really enjoyed this phone for the 2 months I have had it. Now, let me say that besides dropping calls and sitting in the same place while I watch my 3G come and go (full bars to none like a roller coaster) making it impossible to enjoy the video feature I am still pretty happy. Until now. The other night, I turned it off to charge overnight (battery life seems great to me)and then tried to turn it on in the morning. No matter what I do, it will not turn on. It just keeps going to the ATT splash screen, flickers black and starts the whole process again forever. I cannot even turn it off without removing the battery. No big deal, still under warranty right? Also I am EXTREMELY careful with my phones and know not to damage them in ANY way. I've never even come close to dropping it. So here comes the battle with AtT. I renewed my contract after being a customer 0f 14 years (since Bell South Mobility) against my better judgment having had idiotic issues with them countless times before. Anyway, the warranty department is a nightmare. It's taken me a week, even after going into the store and having the sales consultant say "looks like brand new" to even get this swap approved. No one at ATT will want to talk to you unless you buy it from THEM in their store and they got commission on it.I did it "free" as an upgrade like this and cannot get ANY form of customer service. I know this isn't the phone's fault, but you can ONLY get it from ATT and buying it through this method will probably get you the same response or lack thereof. The phone seems fine, well, when it worked, but mind you was only 2 months old when it failed and 2 weeks of that It wasn't even used. Hopefully I am a rare case and you won't have a single issue but knowing how ATT works on the inside, they won't "respect" you unless you go through channels they offer to acquire it.

Not bad; but could have been so much better
I had my eye on the LG VU for about a year now it seemed to be the closest thing to the iPhone without all of the ridiculous limitations, such as only being able to do file management by syncing with iTunes all the time, no BlueTooth capability (other than talking on the phone) and the ridiculous contract through ATT wireless. I had the iPhone for two days before returning it because after realizing it cost way too much money to be so limited. As much as I disliked the iPhone, I did like some of its features like the touch screen and the internet capability. br /I had been using a cheap phone while I searched for one that would be worth dropping a few hundred dollars on. The only one that came close was the LG VU, but even then I was hesitant because it did not have WAN capability like the i-phone did and I knew the internet function of the VU came nowhere near to that of the iPhone. But after my old phone stopped working completely, I had no choice but to get a new phone so I picked up the LG VU. (no contract of course). br / br /The touch screen is fairly responsive, however there are many occasions if you have fairly large hands/fingers you will find yourself pressing the wrong button or letter on the fairly small on screen keyboard and will take some getting used to. A huge problem with the LG's touch screen, is that is it not nearly as responsive as the iPhone when it comes to scrolling such as an internet page. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't at all. In the cases when it does work it very inconsistent, sometimes it only scrolls a few millimeters and other time it scrolls entirely too fast and far causing you to have to start over. This is extremely frustrating however, a small consolation is that you can use the volume keys to automatically move the next or previous page, but it does nothing if you want to scroll horizontally. I don't know if the problems with the touch screen are a result of me having a screen protector on it, but I had a similar screen protector on the iPhone and still did not have any issues with its touch screen. br / br /Speaking of the internet the LG Vu is nowhere near the internet of the iPhone. Its slow, frequently unresponsive and some pages that came up on the iPhone with no problem don't come up at all on the LG Vu. This is because the LG Vu does not use the "real" internet that the IPhone does. The Vu uses the fairly limited Media.net version that most cell phones use meaning that it only works fairly well with the most basic of sites. Anything complicated, even message boards are slow and many times unusable. The iPhone's internet capabilities run circles around this phone. br / br /The best feature of the LG VU is the feature I never had any plans to use at first. This feature is the TV feature. Basically it's just that; a feature that allows you to watch TV on your phone. It works surprisingly well, but there are only a handful of channels to choose from, some examples are NBC, CBS, ESPN, CNN, FoxNews, MTV and Nickelodeon. The news channels are "Live" but others play reruns of the previous day's shows. There are cases where the picture/sound will freeze and become garbled, but for the most part is pretty good. The TV feature can only be used if you pay for the service (about /month), but once you pay, its unlimited use. Add another to have unlimited Media.net usage. There is also a cellular video feature allowing you to watch full length TV shows and sports but I haven't used it. br / br /Other than the touch screen, and TV feature the LG VU has the same features every other phone has; various Bluetooth services that are not limited to just voice such as the iPhone, music player, ability to use MP3's as ring tones, and 2MP camera phone used for taking stills and short videos. The camera does not snap very good pictures as most of the time they come out blurry even though the image on the screen prior to taking the picture is quite clear. The pictures are blurry even though I hold it perfectly still. It seems the only time I get clearer pictures is when I'm moving slightly so I have no idea what is up with that. br / br /The LG VU is not a bad phone but it could have been so much better. It suffers greatly from not having WAN capability and the UI occasionally becomes unresponsive and freezes. The internet interface though only using Media.net still could have been designed a lot better. Had I not absolutely needed a phone, then I would have not gotten the LG VU, but since I didn't have one at all I had to make a decision.

LG VU CU920
My wife gave me the LG Vu 920. The phone looks nice. The touch screen works well for me, and call quality is very good and the speakerphone is great. The best feature is when pressing one button the time and date flash on screen in large letters unlike other phones I used before. br /What I don't like about the phone is that it takes many steps to get where you want e.g. speed dial...several steps; switching between two calls also it takes 3 steps. The signal works in some areas in my house while another phone works in all areas. All in all, I like using it. br / br /

Just not good enough...
Besides the battery time being a weak point, the scroll down mechanism for your call list is poorly designed. You cannot get to the bottom of your list without hitting the Options button at the bottom of the page thereby not permitting access to those numbers. This is definitely a pooly designed mechanism. LG needs to go back to the drawing board. Guess I have to wait two years before I can get a new phone.

Archipelago Botanical Candle - Havana Scent
I had the Havana scented one burning during a little party, and the guys all loved the scent. It's wonderful bergamot and tabacco. Very rich, perfect for wine, cheese and cigar parties! I also found one similar (a bit less expensive) at Bed Bath and Beyond by Maison called Grove. It has bergamot and tabacco as well. It's a great less expensive option too! They even have a reed diffuser in Grove as well. If you are not into the fruity/flowery scents...wow this is great very masculine, rich, smooth and wonderful!

Light summer scent
I love the Pineapple Ginger. I buy a lot of high end candles and this candle burns to the bottom. No wax is left. You get your moneys worth.

fills the room
This candle comes in a nice looking glass container and has a great smell that will fill rooms with its wonderful aroma. I think anyone would be pleased with this item purchase.

Long Lasting
These are the only candles I will buy from now on. They smell good, and unlike cheaper candles they will actually scent the entire house. The pineapple is wonderful.
